SiteTagger Extras
Scripts, plugins, and more for your favorite bookmark manager
If you use SiteTagger and have written some useful scripts or plugins, send them to FCS. They'll be placed on this extras page so that others can download and use them.
Scripts
These scripts can be used from within SiteTagger's scripts menu. Simply install the scripts into ~/Library/Application Support/SiteTagger/Scripts/. Scripts are available immediately upon installation.
Save Safari tabs to SiteTagger
It's easy to open a bunch of links in multiple tabs in Safari. What if you wanted to save them all to your bookmarks? This script makes it easy. It cycles through the tabs of the front Safari window and adds the urls to SiteTagger's database.
Post to WordPress links
WordPress has a built-in link manager that many use to implement their own link blogs or blogrolls. This script will take the currently selected bookmark from SiteTagger and open a new browser window to add the link to WordPress's links. Some configuration is required.
Plugins
Plugins add extra functionality to SiteTagger. They should be installed into ~/Library/Application Support/SiteTagger/Plugins/. SiteTagger must be relaunched to make use of plugins.
Database Manager
SiteTagger has updated its database a few times in order to provide new features. The old databases aren't deleted, however. They're left as an archival backup. The DatabaseManager plugin makes it easier to use these old databases. It provides file system operations such as renaming/moving, deleting, and copying databases as well as more specific tasks such as updating old databases in order to use them.
Set notes from page content
This applescript-based plugin adds an extra action to the "Notes" label while editing bookmarks. If a bookmark has fetched page content, this plugin can summarize that content and set it as the notes of the edited bookmark.

For other applications
Safari+SiteTagger bundle
SiteTagger offers fairly good integration with most web browsers via its bookmarklet. Imagine doing it a bit better. Just consider using a browser's default buttons and menu items to add items to SiteTagger. You could use the keyboard shortcuts and everything. Safari+SiteTagger is a SIMBL plugin that reroutes bookmark features from Safari to SiteTagger. Best of all, if you'd like to use both Safari's tools and SiteTagger, you can perform the default behavior just by pressing the option key. This download contains an Applescript-based installer application (that can also uninstall) and some documentation.
