SiteTagger offers a backup feature in the Preferences window that lets you synchronize your bookmarks database with a file held on a remote server. This system can send files to .Mac, FTP, SFTP, and WebDAV servers. Setup requires basic information provided by your server provider.
The following information is only necessary if you are not syncing to a .Mac account. .Mac information is handled in System Preferences.
When you sync to a server, SiteTagger will first attempt to download information from your server. If any data is received, SiteTagger will synchronize that information with its database. The database and preferences are then compressed and sent back to the server.
