Accessing your share is even easier
It’s a pain to have to write down your IP address every time that you want to connect to your Share from a remote location. It’s also inconvenient to have to email your friends whenever your IP address changes. From Concentrate Software resolves these problems by providing a convenience service that will redirect you to your share from a static url.
To use this online service, launch Share and open Share’s preferences. Check the checkbox labeled “Update online user list”, enter your preferred username, and close the preferences window. Share will send a message to this server with your preferred username, a unique identifying key, and Share's port number. This information and your IP address will be stored in a database. You will then be able to be redirected to your share by navigating to http://www.fromconcentratesoftware.com/Share/users/your username.
