MacDialer Help
Overview
MacDialer is a status bar application that allows you to dial any phone number
stored in MacDialer or your system-wide Address Book from any application.
Requirements:
Apple Macintosh computer capable of running OS X 10.2 or later. You also need
a modem (either internal or USB). A phone is necessary to talk to the other
person.
Features:
- Available anywhere. System-wide status bar item allows you to dial without having to change applications.
- Integrated Phone Book. Don't want to populate your system-wide AddressBook with contacts that you'll only use in MacDialer? No problem.
- Address Book support. Take advantage of all those contacts you've already put into your Address Book.
- Dial Pad. You can dial directly from your Mac even if you don't have the contact put in your Address Book or Phone Book.
- Applescript support.
- Integrates with Address Book. Want to dial a number directly from Address Book through Address Book's contact info? MacDialer can help.
- Very customizable. Run it as a Dock app, menu bar app, customize the menu, and choose the icons used!
- Simple number search integrated. Look up a number from within MacDialer's DIal Pad.
- Rendezvous support.
