You can put documents into Considera, but you also have to be able to get documents out. In order to do this, Considera offers plug-ins and drag-and-drop capability.
You can drag documents out of Considera directly by simply clicking on a document in the documents table and dragging it out of Considera. If the file does not contain attachments, the resulting file is in the RTF format. Otherwise, the file is saved as an RTFD file. Both formats can be opened and read in TextEdit.
Considera also uses a plug-in system to provide an expandable way to export documents. Considera comes with three plug-ins built in. You can add other plug-ins by dragging them to ~/Library/Application Support/Considera/Export Plugins/.
Finally, you can quickly export every document of every project. Simply click so that you do not have a document selected (this will remove the text view) and click on the far left button at the top of the main window. This will create a folder called "Considera files" on your desktop with folders named after projects that contain the documents in RTF or RTFD format.
