I’ve taken a liking to TextMate and actually spend most of my day in it. In fact, I’m using it to write this post which will be sent through MarsEdit (aside: yay for Daniel Jalkut and MarsEdit users everywhere) using TextMate’s incredibly useful “Edit in TextMate” hack/plugin.

Anyway, I found that I missed TextWrangler’s “Straighten Quotes” and “Educate Quotes” features. Luckily, TextMate is exceptionally customizable so I wrote a couple of commands that bring these features back. I don’t know if these features already exist in TextMate or if someone else has already wrote some commands but I didn’t find them so I’m making my commands available. I put them under the Text bundle.
