I received the Rome first season box set as a Christmas gift. In a few short hours, I’ve already seen most of it. I had caught a few episodes during its run but there’s something entirely different about being able to watch several episodes at once. It’s freakin’ brilliant. But then, one of my majors in college was Classics. Perhaps I’m predisposed to enjoy it. Regardless, I highly recommend it.
